"Four old friends" at Brownstone

"Four old friends" are playing at Brownstone on Friday night at 7:00. I put "Four old friends" in quotes, because they are a jazz combo. They're not old, they're in their 30's, so their name is 66% accurate, which is more than you can say about many other bands, such as the Beetles (0% accurate. They are not beetles)
"Four Old Friends" play jazz standards, along with some newer stuff which might be funk. I say might be because I don't actually know what funk is. But it sounds pretty cool. I can listen to them for hours. They don't play very often, so go see them if you like good jazz. If you like awful jazz, go somewhere else.

Downtown Nampa blog
I live in Downtown Nampa, and there's lots of neat stores and events going on that don't seem to much attention. I'm hoping to shed some light on those things here. Mostly, though, I need a place to experiment with javascript, XML, and google map code, and this seems like a good place to do it. The links above will display a downtown nampa calendar of events, and a map of the area that I hope to populate with stores sometime in the near future.
